Today we’re going to discuss Tron TRX. It has become a very popular cryptocurrency ever since its price suddenly spiked in January.

Lately there’s been a lot of speculation around this project. Many people were calling it a scam, its CEO Justin Sun was believed to dump a lot of premined coins and their white paper was believed to be plagiarized.

So let’s investigate if all these rumours are true and if Tron is really a scam.

bestrate.org

Tron is an extremely ambitious project headed by Justin Sun who was on close terms with Alibaba CEO who’s been famous for Bitcoin criticism. The project was initially release on Github in December 2017, and the Tron developers have published a big pool of code. Obviously, there’ve been lots of work done before that.

And if we take a closer look, we will see that the team is trying to implement too many things at once. They are trying to satisfy all the investors at once, and it’s good question whether they will manage to reach all these goals.

Dumped coins

As for the rumors of Justin Sun dumping a pool of coins, unfortunately, there’s not enough proof of this fact.

All the information available doesn’t conclusively show whether or not this has really happened.

Plagiarized White paper

As for the plagiarized white paper, this may well be true. Pretty much every section is taken from some other resources, except for introduction. Justin Sun gave a response to this statement on Twitter. He said that the white paper was translated by volunteers and in the original Chinese version it wasn’t plagiarized and had a lot of references. But it turned out to be false as well, as the Chinese version is plagiarized, too.

All this is very disturbing. Why would a 14B company plagiarize their white paper? Why would it give away to the volunteers such important item as the white paper which is in fact the heart and the soul of any crypto project? White paper not only gives away the road map of the project, but also details the technical terms, the goals of the project and how they’re going to be achieved.

This is the sign that Justin just doesn’t take this project seriously. And the CEO who let his team to plagiarize the white paper, would he not let the coins to be dumped?

Conslusion

Tron is a very ambitious project. It has given 500% returns since its launch. There’s been a pullback after that, but it matches the overall pullback of the whole cryptocurrency market.

Anybody who tells you that Tron is a scam obviously has a hidden agenda and so do those who are quick to defend them. Don’t follow blindly any of them and make your own research before you buy digital currency on cryptocoin exchange platform.

Let’s keep an eye on Tron and see where this project leads us. For now it still has lots of opportunities to achieve.
